Holidays in the Ötztal for up to 12 people

Fantastic location in the heart of the Ötztal

We are very happy to introduce you to our dream - and your holiday destination!
Our holiday home is centrally located in the picturesque village of Umhausen at an altitude of 1,051 m.
Two supermarkets and some excellent restaurants, as well as the closest bus stop, can be reached in just 5 minutes on foot.
The nearby "Hochötz" ski area and the "Rettenbachferner Glacier" in Sölden can be reached quickly by car or by ski bus.

Life like in grandmother's time

We invite you to immerse yourself in another world in our renovated former farmhouse from 1750. Creaky wood, crackling stoves and a real hut feeling await you here.
Whether just with the family or alone, with friends or in a group, the Ansitz Ötztal has approx. 160 m² of living space and is an ideal holiday destination for 2 to a maximum of 12 people due to its cozy room layout.

Cooking in the Rauchkuchl

The rustic, large kitchen with seating area is of course equipped with an original wooden table stove and all the appliances that make it easier for those looking for relaxation on vacation. (Dishwasher, electric stove, coffee maker, microwave and large fridge with freezer compartment).

Cozy hut evenings in the living room

On the ground floor there is the wonderful and very cozy stone pine paneled room with a tiled stove and a large table at which all hut guests can sit together.
We deliberately decided not to have a TV in the house; WiFi is of course available.

Tyrolean hut baths

The two baths in the hut offer our guests the luxury that one can expect from a bath these days. Enjoy the combination of stone, wood and glass - the modern highlights in our old "Ansitz Ötztal".

Traditional bedroom

Our four bedrooms are named after mountain flowers and their color also depends on this.
On the ground floor there is the green / purple "Schneerose" room with a French bed and a bunk bed.On the 1st floor there is the red double room "Almrausch", optionally with a cot for our very young guests, the blue double room "Enzian", and the room "Edelweiß" also with a double bed and a bunk bed.
On request, a board for the children can be attached to the bunk beds for safety.

Threshing floor with sauna and children's area

In the threshing floor attached directly to the old farmhouse, there is not only a large seating area, a bouldering wall, toddler swing and slide for the children, but also a complete sauna area.
After a hike or a day of skiing, relax with wonderfully fragrant infusions in the Finnish sauna and enjoy the breaks on the old wooden sledges in the threshing floor.

Quaint wine cellar

The rustic wine cellar, with the brick niches and the table made from an original South Tyrolean red wine barrel, invites you to enjoy a cozy get-together. You are welcome to use our Austrian wine range at cost price.
